First Highline World Championships

First Highline World Championships For the first time ever in the sport of slacklining, a World Championship in highlining took place on July 15-17, 2022. The event was held in Laax, Switzerland on the summit of Crap Sogn Gion at 2250 m asl. Several ISA officials were active onsite, coordinating with judging, rigging and rescue. Slackline INDIA The community started the association during a 3 day festival, called the Great Indian Highline Gathering, during which they also rigged one of the longest highlines in the country (700m). Their dream is it to spread the sport to different corners of the country, while setting standards for rigging, teaching safe practices and solving access issues.
