Nina Mappes has been slacklining since 2013 and highlining since 2014. As founder of Slackline Hamburg e.V., she has been highly involved in the development of the slacklining community in Germany until she moved to Switzerland in 2019. She has helped organize numerous events such as for example the Highline Rescue Training in Berlin (2017) and has been involved in developing educational workshops about longline and highline rigging. Standing out, Nina has helped organize the first Slackline Instructor Training in Germany together with the ISA Education Commission. From 2018 until 2020 she has been Vice-President of the ISA and now remains in the Executive Board. Due to her professional experience as a project and communications manager,  Nina is mainly involved in the public relations of the organization.
