Ben started slacklining back in 2008 as simple yet enjoyable pastime; with a background in Education both in and out the classroom he quickly realised the potentials of slacklining as an educational tool. He started out his slackline career carrying out research to see if slacklining could be used to target those with a risk of offending; with such great results he quit teaching and became full time slackliner after founding Ru-Slack. Fast forward a decade and Ru-Slack has grown into the UK’s leading slackline delivery organisation; having introduced over 135,000 people to the wonderful world of slacklining and Ben he has taught & performed in over 10 different countries from the UK to the UAE. He currently sits on the education commission and has a keen interest in the developmental and educational sides of slacklining.
