ISA Safety Event 2020

The Safety Event happens on the 25th and 26th of August, 2020 in the Käppeli near Gadmen in Switzerland.

Are you interested in advanced slackline safety, a slackline gear manufacturer, engineer, technician, a rescue specialist or working in other related fields? Thinking of selling slackline gear or doing contest/event organisation professionally ?

Content

The meeting will offer two days of in depth exchange between people interested in slackline safety and working professionally in the slackline industry.

These are our main topics for this year’s meeting, but all the participants are invited to contribute with their own ideas:

  • Learn about the International Slackline Association and its Safety Commission
    • Who are we and what do we do?
  • Get updates on slackline related incidents from our SAIR database
  • Learn about the latest rigging developments from world renowned experts
  • Define the direction of the ISA Safety Commission for the coming season

Languages

Talks and presentations are held in English. Translations to French and German will be provided.

Costs

120,-€ per person, includes 2 days and 2 nights of talks and workshops, accommodation and food. 

For those of you, who would like to participate in the rigger certification happening at Käppeli before (22nd and 23rd), there is a 50,-€ discount for the course.
